I’m new to Inato’s AI patient pre-screening. What is it and how does it work?

Inato’s AI patient pre-screening helps sites quickly and easily identify and assess patients for all of their trials. The AI analyzes patient records against the full list of inclusion and exclusion criteria for all relevant trials at a site and provides an explanation and a source for each criterion within minutes, enabling site staff to make rapid decisions about who to move forward to screening. You can upload patient records to review, or you can now securely pull records in via an EHR integration.

• Automatic Sync: Patient records flow directly from your EHR into Inato’s pre-screening tool. This saves sites significant time and makes it easy to identify relevant patients on a rolling basis, even as additional patients, updated records, or new trials come in. 
• AI Matching: AI identifies patients recently seen at your practice who meet key diagnosis and demographic criteria. Unlike standard EHR queries, which rely on structured data, our tool can understand unstructured data in patient notes to determine whether or not a patient meets the diagnostic and demographic criteria for a trial.
