Inato’s AI patient pre-screening now integrates with CRIO’s Site CTMS to help sites more easily track, manage, and enroll trial participants.

Sites’ partner providers have tens of thousands of patients who could benefit from access to trials. But historically, sites have had no easy way to identify and enroll those patients. Inato now solves this problem from start to finish.

It starts with EHR integrations; Inato can automatically pull in medical records from integrated EHRs to help sites rapidly identify the strongest patient leads based on trial inclusion and exclusion criteria. Now, site staff can easily push those eligible patients forward to screening in their CTMS system, addressing a common operational bottleneck and creating a seamless experience.

The integration with CRIO:

  • Allows sites to link trials and patients across Inato and CRIO, eliminating duplicative work and making it easy to track and manage patients
  • Facilitates smooth handoffs between site staff members
  • Limits administrative work, saving time and reducing site burden

How to Get Started

CRIO users can activate the integration on their own by following these steps:

  • Visit CRIO’s website and log into the CRIO Site App.
  • Visit the CRIO Help Center and select the “Partners” tab to access the Partner Directory. Search for Inato.
  • Click on Inato and navigate to the CRIO API Widget (note that only Org Admins have access to this).
  • Click the “Enable API” button to review the terms and conditions (note that in doing so, you are agreeing to the Default Setup for Certified Partner Integrations).
  • Click the “Enable API” button to submit the request for an integration with Inato, and request receipt confirmation. When CRIO receives the request, a confirmation email will be sent to the requester.
  • Await approval. Once CRIO approves the integration, a confirmation email from helpcenter@clinicalresearch will be sent to both the requester and Inato, indicating the integration is ready.

How It Works

Once the integration is live, you can simplify your patient screening workflow with just a few clicks:

  • Once you’ve identified an eligible participant using Inato’s AI patient pre-screening tool, click “Link to CTMS.”
  • Match the study in Inato to the same study in CRIO.
  • Confirm the patient details and click “Link” to connect the records.
  • That’s it! You can view the updated patient status and manage the rest of the patient journey in CRIO.

Get Started: If you’re a CRIO user ready to get started, visit CRIO’s website to initiate the integration today. If you have any questions, reach out to your Inato Customer Success Manager or prescreening@inato.com
